Engine Checklist

The switches to turn on the engines are located at the helm station.

When there are two of the same gauges or controls, the left one is always for the port side and the right one is always for the starboard side.

Verify the engines are indeed off by confirming the gauges are reading 0 rpm, revs per minute.

Make sure throttles are in neutral position.

Start the engines.

Press ON/OFF button until VOLVO PENTA appears on the display.
Look for odometer (nautical miles) reading to appear on the display.
Press Start until you hear the engines start and the gauge needle moves to about 800 rpm.

Look for exhaust discharge while starting.

Located at the outside stern of each hull
- Will be a large amount of water discharge from a flap
- Will be a more random small “spitting” stream of water from other hole

Turn off immediately if there is no water discharge.
