Propane Stovetop
Let's Eat! But first we need to cook it. Propane stovetop is an option when the weather is nice (since we have to open an hatch), the DC voltage reading is below 12.7 with little to no sun with no plans to run the generator, or the electrical devices are already being used.

Procedure​

Turn on the propane switch

Located by the steps close to the freezer

Right side of top set of switches

Labelled Propane

Press down on the right side of the switch

Left side of the switch is red when the switch is on

LED light should be green when the switch is on

Propane switch is off Propane switch is on

Open the hatch
-
Located above the stovetop

Turn handle counter clock-wise
-
When locked, the handle is in the 6:00 o’clock position.

When opened, the handle is in the 12:00 o'clock position.

Hatch is closed. Hatch is open.

Get a lighter (since the starter switch is broken).

Located in the bottom drawer.

Usually in the center of the drawer.

Turn on stovetop propane.
-
Located on the right side of the stovetop, on cabinet.
-
Press on the “On” for the valve on.

Stove propane is off. Stove propane is on.

Ignite the burner.
-
Turn the burner switch counter-clock-wise to the 3:00 o’clock position.

Press down on the switch while moving the lighter close to the burner.

Turn the burner switch in a clock-wise position to lower the burner level.

Knobs all off. Turning on lower left burner by holding down knob while lighting.

When stovetop use is completed.
Note: Do not turn off the propane switches if the grill is being used.

All burner knobs are in the off position.
2. Close the kitchen hatch over the stovetop.
Hint: If the hatch handle is difficult to reach, use the noodle spoon. (Noodle spoon is in one of the top 2 kitchen drawers.)
3. Turn off stovetop propane switch.
4. Turn off propane switch on the 120 V electrical panel.
5. Put away the lighter. (Bottom kitchen drawer)
