This week we left the marina with no plans to stop at another marina for over 2 months. For the last 2 weeks I was in a whirlwind of what to stock. For some reason I kept believing we were forgetting something. Last night I started laughing hysterically when it hit me that I was trying to control my environment instead of just allowing God to provide what we needed.
You have to understand, marinas are comfortable places since they provide access to all of the water we could possibly use, have great land amenities and are located close to grocery stores and restaurants. Leaving the marina means we will minimize water usage since our tank only holds 185 gallons, food will be whatever we thought of bringing and disposing of waste becomes a challenge.
But I have to remember that I need to be pushed out of my comfort zone and into new adventures. So whatever happens, happens. You know what? I can't think of a single princess or adventure movie where they packed or used a toothbrush, or even luggage in most cases. They just go off into the unknown and some how everything just works at the end.
