Herring Bay, Maryland

Anchored (38 44.509 N, 76 32.364W) on September 12, 2023: scenic, quiet, one sailboat, one powerboat, minimal rain, almost no wind.

Other reviewers said it is rolly. It was rolly for us during the nighttime, especially since there was a storm with winds from the west, but we were fine. Another Catamaran anchored close to the wall (Fairhaven cliffs), which was most likely for west wind protection.

Caution: crab pot field if you cut across the channel from the north, if low visibility we recommend staying between the buoys.

Herrington Harbour South marina has lots of great reviews.

Herrington Harbour North is too shallow.
