St Leonard Creek off of the Patuxent River
Our first reason to go here was to experience Vera's White Sands Restaurant. Although we knew the restaurant has been stripped of its past character, it was still fun to imagine what it was like. The second reason was the anchorage location. We met someone at Solomon's Island who said this is his favorite anchorage, and we know why.
Our map has a caution for the depth. That may be incorrect. Later we learned that our depth reader was occasionally giving false reading. No problem, the underwater growth must have reached a point where it caused some interference. I am leaving it on the map until I confirm it during our next visit.

Anchorage at Rollins Cove is very calm and holding is good. Spectacular scenery. Watching the cows is the best.

Another catamaran was anchored north of Vera’s, from a local we were told to stay to the right of the sand bar.
Dingy ride from Rollins Cove anchorage to Vera’s White Sands restaurant and marina is an easy going 1 mile.
As of 2023 dock B is for restaurant patrons and transients. We asked and were allowed to fill jerry cans with water using the water spickets at the dock. Bring a hose.
As of 2023 the marina looks like it only has slips for smaller monohulls. The fuel tanks were covered. It was the end of September, and we did not know if it was seasonal or permanent. The gas prices made me think the fuel tanks were closed for a while. There are no visible pump out stations.
